Fripp Island Homes

Fripp Island has been a favorite vacation destination for several generations.  Now, this prime real estate is also home to many families who can't bring themselves to leave its comfortable brand of paradise. As the only beachfront community in the Beaufort area with golf courses, it offers great options for outdoor recreation for vacation getaways as well as permanent homes.

The Ocean Creek Golf course is a Golf Digest, 4 1/2 star course, designed by Davis Love III.  it's been frequently honored for its distinctive layout.  Ocean Point golf Links was designed by George Cobb, and has eleven holes with ocean views.  The wind has a strong influence on how this course plays.  PGA Pros are on staff with clinic, private and group lessons, and children's programs through Wee Linnks.

Fripp Beach is over three miles of uncrowded sand and surf, inviting to families and solitary sunworshippers alike.  Nearby Hunting Island State Park and Beach offer more possibilities to enjoy being on the water, with five miles of beach and thousands of acres of marshland and tidal creeks.

Boaters will appreciate the Fripp Island Marina, with dockage, boat storage, and a loading ramp. Families enjoy the Fripp Island Cruises on the Fripper, a 36-passenger pontoon boat that features dolphin-watching and sunset cruises.  Offshore fishing brings in wahoo, sailfish, snapper, grouper and kingfish, to name a few. Smaller vessels may also be rented, including Carolina skiffs, and kayaks. 

Oceanfront pools and a beach club, plus the Caban Club Pool and Complex and Marina Pool Complex offer a variety of destinations for swimming and sunbathing away fro the beach.

The Tennis and Racquet Club ffer year-round play, during daylight, or after dark. Clinics, group and private lessons keep serves sharp and volleys effective. And the Fitness Center features state-of-the-art equipment and staff who will keep you on track for your fitness goals.

A number of restaurants feature poolside or oceanside dining, and range from casual gathering spots, to more elegant cuisine for fine dining.  And, children's activities keep the little ones occupied with fun, games and outdoor activities.

Fripp Island is about 20 miles east of Beaufort. its resort atmosphere is great for those seeking a second home, as well as families who want this amazing lifestyle year round.  Homes are lovely and generally follow the lowcountry style.  People are friendly and welcoming, and services are superb.
